I once contacted someone on Reddit and texted them for a while. (Friendship, not romantic) I later met them in real life and didn't realise it was them for three months.

I once was just scrolling on a subreddit. I won't say which one it was for privacy reasons but I was scrolling on a subreddit and I posted something asking if there were people in my area and I when did that somebody privately texted me was like "hey yeah kind of I know I'm around you like we should just talk"

kind of thing so we were talking for a bit and after a while we didn't talk for a while. Anyway, fast forwad maybe a month. I went to a convention and met up with a group there I didn't know them at all but I went to the convention and met these people and later got their numbers just because they're all interested in the same things. We had fun talking and bear in mind there was a lot of people this convention. Anyway, I later on a call I was on with a group of four of them i asked them if they've got any social medias and one of them is like "oh yeah no I have reddit" so I was like "oh my gosh you should send me your realize anyway he sent me that reddit and it was the reddit I was talking to before the only person I've ever talked to in Reddit chat I met in real life and didn't realize for three months. Insane coincidence
